After years of pouring wine and culture into downtown Houston, we received unexpected news: our current building was sold, and we have to relocate.

Rather than sign another long-term lease, we made a bold decision to pursue ownership. A space that reflects everything you told us you wanted: more room to gather, parking, a kitchen, and elevated experiences built around community and culture.

To make that vision a reality, we’ve launched our first-ever crowdfunding campaign. Your support will help us pay off our startup debt and raise the capital we need to secure a permanent home for Pur Noire — something no one can take away.

FAQs

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are not required but encouraged. If we have the capacity, we are happy to provide you a tasting experience. However, reservations are given priority and a reservation is the best way to guarantee that we are able to accommodate you.

Do you serve other brands of wines? Beer? Liquor?

No. Since we are a branded tasting room and not a wine bar, we only do wine tastings of Pur Noire wines.

Do you serve food?

Guests can order charcuterie boards 24 hours in advance of their tasting. However, we do not operate as a restaurant or have a regular food menu. 

Do you have entertainment?

We often have special ticketed events that feature live music and other forms of entertainment but we do not have regular entertainment in the Tasting Room. The experience is centered around our wines.

Do you serve wine by the glass?

Club members are be able to order wine by the glass. Non-members are only able to do tastings and purchase bottles to go unless visiting during our happy hour times which are Wednesday- Thursday from 4PM – 7PM.

Are there cocktails or bottle service?

No, because we are not a bar or nightclub, we are not serving spirits, or mixed drinks and we will not have bottle girls, sections, etc.
