Tasting Room Construction Update: October 10, 2021
We’ve made great progress on our tasting room and wanted to share how far we’ve come! We are currently on track to open in November and will announce the grand opening date in the next two weeks!
You may recall that we started with a blank slate. We had two steel framed walls and open ceiling, and unfinished flooring. (See Below)
After changing the original design to ensure that we could maximize capacity, the space is really starting to take shape. We’ve completed demo, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and framing. Drywall is nearing completion and the team should be starting flooring and paint. We’ve ordered all of the furnishing, equipment, and finishes and look forward to sharing the final result.
In the meantime, here are some progress photos as well as what you can expect when we open.

What to Expect
Our goal is to bring a traditional tasting room experience to downtown Houston. You will be able to select from different tasting packages and experience five different wines from our portfolio. One of our Ambassadors will guide you through the tasting and tell you all about our wine and the Pur Noire brand. After the tasting, you can buy bottles of wine or if you taste something that you love, join our wine club! We will also have special ticketed events for guests to attend and enjoy! We look forward to bringing you a great experience.
Wine Club Members
When we are not using the winery area for winemaking, it will serve as a member lounge featuring chic lounge seating, bottle service, wine by the glass, and daily light bites. For more on our Wine club and the perks visit our wine club page.
FAQ
Q: Will you serve other wines?
A: No. Since we are a tasting room and not a wine bar, we will only do tastings of Pur Noire wines.
Q: Will you serve food?
A: We will have food catered for special events and provide light bites in the member lounge but we will not operate as a restaurant or have a regular food menu.
Q: Will you have entertainment?
A: We will have special ticketed events that feature live music and other forms of entertainment.
Q: Will you accommodate corporate events, birthdays, and other special occasions?
